01Pricing

Priced on loads, not seats.

Charging per user would mean charging you to let more of your team see a load going bad. Every plan includes unlimited seats. What changes between them is volume and how much of the network you can compare against.

One load = one shipment, tender to POD, however many stops. Overage is billed per load, never by forced upgrade.

The whole table, not the flattering half.

Every row that differs between plans is here, including the ones that make Lane look small. You are going to find out in week two anyway.

03Questions

The ones asked on every call.

What counts as a load?

One shipment from tender to POD, however many stops it has. A multi-stop load with four consignees is one load. Re-tendered freight after a carrier falls off counts once, not twice.

What happens when we go over the ceiling?

Nothing breaks and nobody gets locked out. Overage bills at $0.09 per load on annual plans, $0.11 on monthly. If you are over three months running we will move you down a price per load, not up a plan tier — that conversation is on us to start.

Do you need write access to our TMS?

No. Dwell reads load, stop and status records and never writes back. Most customers provision a read-only service account in week one and never touch it again.

We already get detention reports from our 3PL. Why this?

Those reports arrive after the money is gone. They are an accounting artifact. Dwell is a clock that runs while the trailer is still at the dock, which is the only window where a phone call changes the number.

What if a facility disputes our timestamps?

Every charge carries its evidence: geofence entry, gate confirmation where the yard system provides it, the exact minute contractual free time expired, and departure. It exports as a PDF built for an AP department, which is why disputes tend to end quickly.

Can we cancel?

Annual plans run the term. Monthly plans cancel with 30 days' notice and we export your full history as CSV on the way out — no retention hostage-taking, no offboarding fee.

04Walkthrough

Thirty minutes, your own loads.

Send one week of load records. We come back with the detention you paid, the facilities that caused it, and the loads that were catchable. If none of it is interesting, that is a useful answer too.
